HT1250 Beep

I have a Motorola HT1250 VHF w/ R05.09.06.

It seems that when the radio is off for a long period of time (hours) I get a constant beep. It's not the test beep when you turn it on. This beep is constant until I TX or change channels or zones.

Has anyone experienced this and can offer a fix if there is one. This radio is only 2-3 months old.

If its that old, just send it back.

It's a problem we've seen before. The Depot will blank the OS and reflash the radio.
