Sound Off headlamp flasher install in a civilian Impala

I have bought a Sound Off headlamp flasher for my 2005 Imapla. The one wire that I have to cut and splice into that I am not sure of is for the drl relay. It is a green/black wire. I have located a small green/black in a large connector with a blue locking handle which is slightly below and inboard of the underhood relay center. This green/black wire is at the top of the connector. For those of you that have installed these flashers, is this the correct wire? I don't want to go cutting it before I know for sure. The arrow points to the wire I think it is. Thanks for any help.

Here is a link to the diagram: I found it easier to make the DRL connection up closer to the passenger side headlight in the factory harness. All necesarry wires are right there.

you can test the DRL wire by applying ground to the realy side of the grn/blk wire, which if you have the correct wire should turn on the DRL's.

use caution as the other green w/black trace wire in that harness is the ambient light sensor return.... connect your flasher to that at it will throw all kinds of trouble codes.

Which flasher are you using? I tried a plug and play with my civilian Impala without much luck. I'm currently using a Federal Signal FA45-RTG (I think is the model) works great.

Thanks for your reply. I don't see the link that you said you included. That would be really helpful to find a wire closer to the headlight. I have purchased a Sound Off ETQS00CG flasher. It is not the plug and play version. I hope to get it installed this weekend but need to find this elusive DRL wire.
