xts 2500 Information Request

xts 2500 Information Request

This one is alittle new to me !

Just looking for some infomation on reprograming it and the type of cable to use. Also does anyone know the pinouts for this model so I can build a cable.

i believe its a xts2500/5000 cable, avail in RIB/Non-RIB/and maybe USB... i've tried the MTSX cable, and it doesn't work on the 2500...

I use the RKN4105A (usb) or RKN4106A (serial) ribless cables to program this radio.

The CPS software is the same as the XTS5000, RVN4181S (for version R07.00.00).

I believe the connector pinout is the same as, or similar to, the HT/JT1000/XTS3000/XTS5000s because I can use the HT1000/XTS3000 programming cable to connect to the test box for testing, use an external mic, etc.
