UHF XTS3500 help needed

Post by radioinstl »

I have a friend who got a UHF (450-512) XTS-3500r model 1 off ebay. when he got it to me to program, it would not read or write. He had it under maint with his local MSS. when they sent it to depot, they came back with a 2000+ quote for repair because it was crushed. Any one who has any boards or other parts for a UHF XTS-3500 or other wise can work with me to build him a new radio (450-512 digital, model 1) please PM or respond here. Thanx as always for the great help on this board and see you in dayton. Scott

It was crushed! Who crushed it, or did he buy it that way?

the seller did not disclose the internal damage, there was no noticable damage on the out side
