Identify Control Head?

Post by twowaytekk »

I have a Systems 9000 control head....looks like an A9. The part number on the back is YCN1027C. I've looked on MOL and Mike's page with no luck identifying if it's for a Spectra..conventional or trunking. Any help would be appreciated.

As an interesting side note it has what looks like a 2.5mm threaded jack on the right side of the head....

After speaking with M parts, it appears this is a stock control head with a ear phone jack.....still don't know more though.

I wish...I asked and they had no idea. The head looks almost new. They did say it came from their Texas warehouse....if that helps.

Sounds like a SP for the USSecret Service. All of their radios come with an earphone jack.

Control Head

Well I hooked the control head to a conventional high power A9 Spectra....no problems. By looking at the mode names it appears it was used in the federal enviornment.
