Spectra Mode/Zone Question

I have a Spectra A5 VHF radio with a 6.06 mlm in my CVPI, and I did some programming this weekend to add in some new stuff I wanted to listen to. I created 3 zones, and put the modes I wanted into the zone...the thing is...for me to view the 6 modes I want in zone 3 I have to add in 7 dummy modes, and when I change modes inside the zone it shows sel mode on the display for sevreal modes in the zone, then it also shows the 6 modes I placed into the zone...and without the dummy modes when I try to use the NPRI scan in this zone my only option is SEL MODE...anybody got any ideas??
