Is there a option in the programming for these radios for a delayed turn on when using ignition sense?
Thanks.

just set the ignition sense to "follow ignition" then set your delay time, default is 1000ms.

The debounce delay doesn't effect the ignition sense. It delays actions following power-up if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info. I am having a few issues with the Quick Mount Dual control box. They say that the radio (CDM) and control box should not power up at the same time. The box should have constant A+ direct from the battery at all times, it draws very little current. In these ambulances, that is almost impossible to get directly to the battery. I mount these radios and control boxes on a metal plate ,(GE MAster II Mobil brackett) with A+ coming from the master on/off switch to a distribution panel. A delayed relay could be used for the radio ???
Any suggestions.

Yes. Get yourself and Altronix 6062 relay board. It has an adjustable delay timer. You can set to start counting when power is applied and not close the relay until a set time period. Adjustments from 0 seconds to 60 minutes.

it's not the debounce delay it's the power up delay, it works perfect and sounds like it't exactly what he needs and it's built into the radio. I use that option all the time.

Now that I actually have the software in front of me too look at it.... I correct myself, I was refering to "ACCESSORY POWER UP DELAY, not debounce time. Debounce is something totally different and having nothing to do with ignition sense.
Regardless, the delay time you are refering to does not effect the ignition sense and power up time.

All it does is make the radio ignore the accessory connector for a set amount of time while the radio is powering up. It has no effect on when the radio powers up. To support this, I can tell you that I have mine set for 3 seconds and the radio turns on immidiately upon ignition sense.Help File wrote:Selects the amount of time (during radio power-up) that the Active Level of the Accessory Connector pins are ignored. During this time any functionality associated with all connector pins is delayed for the duration of the timer. Time is in milliseconds.

Could I then connect pin # 13 (switched A+) to Pin # 10 (Ignition sense), program the delay to 2000 milliseconds a then would I get a 2 second delay? Or is pin # 13 hot as soon as power is applied to the main power connector?
Great info here, thanks.
