Monitor Button

Hi Rusty,

On re-reading... I would guess that there is a short between the two buttons in the flex, causing scan to be triggered along with monitor. Since the buttons are on the radio frame, you may have to do surgery to find out...

Did the radio act like this since you got it or is it a new issue that just currently came up....

People like to do strange things with Lab..... :-?

I've seen this before on Jedi radios with water damage to the side flex. If it's not too invasive, a few minutes with some cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol fixes it right up.

no one has been in this thing with lab. its a work radio so water damage is more likely. i'll check that and clean it good. thanks guys.
