XTS3000 Digital Voice Problems

Post by PhillyPhoto »

Here's my problem:

Astro Spectra -

Trunking System>Digital>Digital Modulator Type:C4FM

XTS3000 -

Trunking System>Digital>Digital Modulator Type:C4FM

The spectra decodes voice just fine, but the xts does not, is it something beside the modulator type? I've tried CQPSK, and WIDE, but to no avail. Yes, "Astro Capable System" is selected. Am I missing another option?

Does the XTS3000 have the appropriate NAC entered or is it configured for Digital CSQ?

Does the XTS3000 have the ASTRO talkgroups disabled?

Has the XTS been properly aligned? Is it known to work on other IMBE traffic? Is it a Nick radio?

Could you let the rest of us know what the problem was in case we run into the same thing?

Under:

Trunking Personality>Talkgroup, I had to change Tx Voice/Signal Type to digital. It's one you have to scroll over for, that's why I didn't see it to begin with.
