GM300 Volume potentiometer / switch

GM300 Volume potentiometer / switch

Does anybody know where I coud get a spare volume-potentiometer/switch for a GM300? The built in one does no longer switch the ower on.
Sorry no support from Motorla Switzerland :cry:

The GM300 uses the same part as the MaxTrac, and that part is no longer available. There is a replacement part, but it's not an exact fit; you'll have to drill some small holes or bend the lugs to fit (not recommended).

There's an article about replacing the part on a MaxTrac; the GM300 will be similar but you might need to take a bit more care when drilling:

I bought a few of the replacement pots and I could sell you one, but I don't know how much it would cost to ship it, probably more than the pot itself. If you want to find a way to get money to me, and suggest a shipping method, send me a PM. I also don't know if customs would play any part in such a shipment, although I'd declare it as a gift/sample.
