XTS3000 + AGC

Post by Rayjk110 »

Hello. I enabled the AGC setting on one of my XTS3000, and the audio is the same as either the linear or compression setting. I was thinking about having it sound like my HT1000's do, where it will actually vary with surroundings and will sound the same at any distance, but instead it sounds more 'plain' like. Does anyone know what the Output and Input settings should be? I've followed what the help files say, but, it doesn't make any noticable difference. This is using R04.01.04

Thanks

The recommended settings, per Moto's SRN, are:

TX Gain Control Analog: On
TX Gain Control Securenet: On
TX Gain Control Digital: On
Tx Gain Control Type: AGC
TX Gain Control Output: 0
TX Gain Control Total:: 6

I believe you also must have firmware above 7 for this to work.

Yeah, that's what I have it set for in CPS, but, no luck.

Thanks for the help.
