Problem with XTS300 M1

Post by RADIO43 »

Group,

One of our XTS3000 M1 is having a problem. The radio turns on normal but with out the test beep. Then when you hit the PTT Button the radio's TX light comes on but will not shut off until after removing the battery. The radio is not TX'ing and also is not RX'ing. Also the radio does read and write with no problem using the CPS. I have opened up the radio to make sure all connections are the way they should be. ALso there is no obvious signs of damage inside the radio either. Any idea's on what the problem is???

Bad case or flex.

Host/dsp mismatch? I have one that does this too. The Vocorder will work in other radios, but No audio, including status beeps, when it's all together. Is it an Ebay radio? Possibly pieced together? I've tried other cases too.

I am also thinking that it is a bad case or flex. This is a legit radio that has been in operation for approximatley 4 years. Thanks for all the suggestions.
