FL 08/10?

FL 08/10?

whats this code? is it a encrypt key problem or am i waaay off?

Do you mean 09/10? I cant find 08/10 in any astro service manuals I have...

If it is 09/10 that means you have the "secure hardware equipped" box checked in the CPS but either there is no board installed or it is malfunctioning.

Isn't 08/10 the radio reporting it can't talk to the Siren/PA amp?

Yes, you're right. I overlooked the astro spectra...

Error Code ................Description.................Type.............Corrective Action
ERROR 08/10 SIREN HARDWARE ERROR NON-FATAL Turn the radio off then on

well, that makes sense.

we recently replaced this vehicle's siren/pa with one from federal signal which is NOT integrated with the radio like the last one.

the radio is programed to look for the siren/pa but cant find it, because it's sitting on a shelf in the shop.
