CDM1550 LS Connecting to Vertex Vx

CDM1550 LS Connecting to Vertex Vx

I would like to try to connect a UHF Mot. CDM 1550LS (UHF) to a Vertex VX4000, so when CDM 1550LS is set on a certain ch. and the user is out on portable near the vehicle and is on the same ch. that traffic from the portable is going through the uhf radio and then being rebroadcasted over the Vertex on what every ch. that it is set to. I was wondering if anyone has done this in past or has any ideas on how to set this up.
