HT1000 not Xmit over Ch 9

HT1000 not Xmit over Ch 9

I have a HT1000 that will not xmit on channels 9-16. The RSS is showing it is there.

The way it sounds to me is that the individual mode is not turned on. On your mode screen after the mode number make sure that yes is entered under the heading of programmed.

When I press the PTT the LED o nthe top comes on so I know it's xmitting. I even used a codeplug from another radio, nothing.

I'm willing to bet the selector switch is bad, and channels 1-8 are repeating in positions 9-16. Can you check it to see if that's the case?

That is what it was. Are you saying it needs a new selector switch?

Either that, or the flex assembly may possibly have cold/broken solder connections at the switch. There are a few other possibilities, but they are far less common.
