Hello,
I just read that it is possible to program the Astro Saber radios out of band.
I am using the newst CPS and have programmed all my Astro Saber with this software. A pal told me he always uses the RSS and doesn´t like the CPS.
Can you change more features with the RSS than with the CPS?
Then I have a lot of Astro Saber which are only analogue. I have read that it is possible to just clone a flash code into the radios which is digital.......
Thanks for answers!

RSS will be more friendly with you than the newer CPS, as far as you would like to do. Basically any Motorola radio that is programmable with either RSS or CPS will allow you to change more things on RSS, so long as it hasn't been programmed with CPS just yet.
I'm sure others can fill you in here as far as AstroSaber's go, as I am relatively new to them as well.

- What radios do you own?: APX4K, XTL5K, NX5200, NX700HK
A lot more than just the flashcode dictates whether the radio is capable of digita as-is or not. You'd need to know the firmware revision you currently have.
If the firmware doesn't support digital, or is simply "astro ready" you'll need to actually by the IMBE flash package, which isn't cheap.
