Progaming XTL-5000 O5 head with PDA
Anyone out there currently useing the HP PDA to do programing ? I have no problems with the XTS-5000 or XTL-5000 with the older head. THe new O5 head reads fine, but when you look at the codeplug in the software, it shows as an old head limited to 8 charcters in the display instead of the 2 line 14 charater display. I am using version 7.00.01 of the CPS

look on your cd
It's also a specific HP PDA that is no longer available however I have heard of it working on others.
I had one but dropped it getting in the car and then drove over it.
You can also program over the internet believe it or not.
I've tried it over an intranet and it worked fine, however the end user needs a USB programming cable.
I'm waiting for the release of the ultra
at least than $1000 it's perfect for thge tool box, glove box whatever
