Astro Saber I with IMBE, AS III without IMBE

Post by LAPD_Astro »

Hello,

I have a question:
I have an Astro Saber I VHF which is IBME / digital mode. Then I have an Astro Saber III VHF which has analogue operation only.
If I change the housing incl. display-unit do I make a IMBE Astro Saber III VHF and a Astro Saber I analogue only out of them?
If yes, do I have to change any settings with the CPS?

Thanks

How can I do it? If I put the display on the AS I and then power the AS on, "SELF TEST" appears but the radios doesn´t power on any further.
How do I Flash the radio with Model III information?

Thanks ;-)
