MTX 838 Modell I

Hello there,

I have bought 6 Motorola MTX 838 Modell I (with topdisplay) on ebay Australia.
The radios work in the 70cms.

Does anyone know how many channels the radios have`and which RSS I need to program them?

It should be a 99 channel radio with a continous rotary, so when you go past 16 with the channel knob, it will keep going to 17,18, 19 and so on....

Those are really good radios too, btw, I've had nothing but luck with them...

Okay
I have 2 different software versions here which I cannot install.
Has anyone a hint which software will work?

Regular DOS MTSX will program an MTX838 just fine. The last version released was R06.08
