XTS300 ID Display

Post by GEMOTO »

I have a model 3 XTS3000 Flash: 500008-000400-7, R7.13.00 and DSP 8.02.06.

I have played with all of the timing settings under the PTT ID display screen in the CPS but can not make the ID stay up for more that 1/2 second when someone sends a post ID. If they send a pre-ID it works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Its also carrier dependant. Obviously with pre, as long as the radio is RX'ing a signal, it will stay the entire time.

As soon as the signal drops, the ID goes pretty quick.

Thanks Jason that was it.

PJ, usually if you set the end of voice timer the ID will stay even after the carrier has dropped.

Yeah, I had one radio (forget the firmware) that would drop no matter what the EOT was set to. Looking back at one of my other posts, looks like it was a 7.x verison that did it which has since been corrected.
