Astro Spectra Error 12/10

Post by levap2way »

I have an Astro Spectra VHF in working condition but every time the radio powers up, it shows an error message before loading the display name. error 12/10. Then it shows the display information.

Someone know what does that error code means. or how to correct it?

That means the problem is nothing or I just have to turn the radio back off and on again. No way to avoid or correct the problem?

If you dont have the VRS attached, you need to go into the programming and disable it.

that will clear the error.

If you DO have the VRS attached, try reseating all the cables and try agian, if it persists, then there is a problem with the VRS

Ok, that may be it, I am testing the radio without the VRS.

Thanks
