Siren/PA part number question

Post by hamptonbeach »

I have 2 Astro Spectra Siren/PA's, but the part numbers are different.

One is HLN1885E and the other is HLN1439B

If it was just the last letter, I'd assume one was newer than the other, but with totally different p/n's .. what's the difference?

The 1439 is the current production one. The circuit boards internally are different. For basic uses they are interchangable.
