Astro Spectra VHF error code 1/90

Post by levap2way »

Hello, I have an Astro Spectra VHF Model # T04KLH9PW9AN giving me error code 1/90 at power up, and then reset it self. I would like to know if that problem is a setting problem or any of the boards is damaged?

01/90 is a general hardware failure.

depot the radio.

take it to your local MSS and tell them to flat rate the radio.

<<edit... concur with darren below -- however, you also said you were having rx problems in another post... hence my recommendation to depot the radio...>>

01/90 can be a powerup failure as well, main power out but accessory power still there, it can be simple, such as a fuse or a connection, or something in the PA.

Also, the problem can be in the head or command board.

If your not good at trouble shooting, the Depot may be the answer for you..... Si' Senior. Sorry, had to do that.
