motorola charger

Needed wiring diagram for a mororola portable radio charger,
my charger has four wires coming out of it, red/blk/white
and yellow, I am trying to wire up a two wire cigarette
plug to it, when wired the yellow light comes on instead of
the green which would indicate thats its charging, any
sugegestions to wiring.The charger is and for inside of a
vehicle, my portable radio is a motorola ht1250,

if it's the big square aluminum charger, mine only has 2 wires coming out of it, red & black, and that's pretty self explanitory. i remember the ht1000's like that had to trigger the pac/rt, look at connector on the charger and see what pins are actually on the unit, the white & yellow ones may not be there on the charger itself.
