Fromt eh lack of information, but the fact he included the letter 'C', I would surmise he's referring to a Jedi, like the HT1000 at the very least.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

if it's an ht1000 put it on c and look at the light on the top, if it's out on ch1 then ch1 isn't in the list, push the top green button and it'll turn green or red and you do that for each channel. then put your switch back to a or whatever scan mode is and you should be in business.

Its a Jedi. MTS2000. Sorry about that. When I put it into scan program, the light isn't lit on cahnnels I know are in the scan list. If I press the green button it gives me the beep of an unprogrammed button.

My guess would wager to be to program the green/blueish button as scan program button.

On the MTS2000, once you're in scan program mode, the "channel in scan list" indicator is the actual scan symbol that looks like a Z. If the Z is present, the selected channel is in the list. If the Z has a dot next to it, the selected channel is priority_2 and if the Z has a flashing dot next to it, the selected channel is a priority_1 (takes priority over the pri_2 channel).

Each press of the green button toggles between no scan, scan, pri_1, pri_2 regardless of the green button's programming. If pri_scan is not enabled then you won't get those choices.

And, if the list is full, using the green button to try to toggle another channel into the list will give you the "invalid press" audible -- a "boop" -- signalling that the list is full and you can't add any more.

Finally, remember that entering scan list programming from the radio (via a button or a menu item) enters the scan list associated with the selected channel at the time scan list program mode was entered. To program another list, exit scan list program mode, select another channel, and re-enter scan list program mode.

Try deleting a scan list member and see if you can than add one.

Alternatively, while your radio may be programmed for scan list programming mode, the particular scan list tagged to the selected channel may not be programmed for "OpSel" with respect to its members.
