xts5000

Post by fire_master_21 »

I finally made the jump up to the xts line and got myself a xts5000 vhf FPP. I will be getting with motorola for the lastest CPS for this radio, but I want to upgrade the firmware as it has DPS 05.01.00 and host 05.01.00. About how much would it cost to have it upgraded and do I have to send this radio to motorola or can a shop upgrade it for me?

Firmware upgrades are usually $75.00 as long as you don't
request any additional features.

If you can program it you can flash it

Choose your current base model

ANALOG SMARTNET T6748
DIGITAL SMARTNET T6749
ANALOG SMARTZONE T6750
DIGITAL SMARTZONE T6751

then choose the option
ENH: UPGRADE EXISTING CONVENTIONAL Q324AK
ENH: UPGRADE CONVENTIONAL TO SMARTNET Q326AS
ENH: UPGRADE EXISTING SMARTNET Q326AT
ENH: UPGRADE CONVENTIONAL TO SMARTZONE Q327BE
ENH: UPGRADE SMARTNET TO SMARTZONE Q327BF
ENH: UPGRADE EXISTING SMARTZONE Q327BG

The upgrade existing stuff is around 75$
