You guys will notice on the top of the index page here on the Batboard that those 2 rules exist. With a few rare exceptions most people adhere to those rules regarding software without question. The ones that violate that are appropriately warned and generally do not repeat it. For the ones that learn from thier mistakes, bravo.

Administration recently has learned of some members trying to PM or use the e-mail feature of the forums to solicit RSS or CPS from other members. Trying to circumvent the system in order to solicit illegal RSS or CPS will result in disciplinary action. There have already been a member or 2 banned for this behavior, and that trend will continue for anyone reported.

Anyone that reports someone trying to solicit RSS or CPS through a PM or e-mail through the board can and will be kept anonymous if you choose to be.

If they're stupid enough to do that on here (rather than taking their request somewhere else), they deserve to be banned. They should be happy if big M doesn't find out...

I think there's a project for that over on Sourceforge. Either that, or there's a package in CPAN.
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.

In other words, the MT500 is not a software controlled radio. There is no RSS. Frequency is determined by Channel Elements available from ICM and other crystal vendors. You can try a post on sale/wanted/trade to see if someone has elements for the frequency you need. You need a pair of elements (TX and RX) for each channel so it can get very expensive for new elements at about $50-75 each x2 per channel.

For anyone who missed it, I think the little smiley at the end of his post probably meant that he was joking. :P
