convert a as1 to a as2/3

how hard is it to convert one?

i know need the lcd and case what else does one need?

You'll also need a Model 2/3 S-Record, which also stores which flashcode options.

You'll usually get a whored flashcode with one. Depends on who you ask.

You need the plastic that lays over the display shield and acts as the keypad. Last time I ordered one it was available on MOL for $11.00 but that was over a year ago. If you don't get it, your new AS2/3 will not have a functional keypad.

I've only had to order one once. All of the other Model 1's that I converted already had the plastic membrane. Just have to check each radio.
