Need to know if I can upgrade a Ht1250 limited keypad to full DTMF radio?

yes, just read the radio and select in the cps that it's a full keypad and write it back to the radio. it's that simple. the hardest part is replacing the housing.

Read your radio. I forget where, but there will be a choice in CPS that will say limited or full keypad. If you have a choice, buy a new faceplate and your good. If not, you will have to either upgrade the firmware or your stuck (forget which).
Also there are two verisons of the HT1250 case, both will work, but the older faceplate requires a little fanagling, but will fit.

Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
