Flash Code & Checksum Info Needed

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to put together a valid flashcode and make the checksum compute so Motorola accepts the flash on an XTS3000?

I have heard punching in #'s to get features of a wanted flash in the interactive decoder on Batlabs isnt the best way to do it since somehow the checksum does not compute?

Also does software encryption work with IMBE? Or is a plug in DES module needed?

does anyone know the answer to the original question about the checksum? i'd like to integrate that into my applications that decode flashes to just tell the user whether or not the checksum bit is correct.
