EP450 and em400 password removal

Post by Radios »

Is there a way to make the software not to ask for the password when reading it? Using commercial series CPS Version R05.04 software.
Thanks in advance

You can take another codeplug and try to write it to this radio and it should fix the password issue. You will loose the codeplug that is on the radio now.

if you know how to remove the password do not keep it to yourself and share it.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

use winhex ram editor and it will tell you the password, then enter it and open the codeplug and disable it. this has been discussed on here many times. it works the same for all radios.

Post by Autonomo »

http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Portmon.html

CPS 1.-starts up
It 2.-pulls up portmon
Being in the screen of Portmon
to reduce to the minimum the spaces of TIME,PROCESS,REQUEST,PORT AND RESULT.
and to expand to the MAXIMUM " Other "
He/she 3.-reads the EP450 or EM200 or EM400
4.-search in the portmon window the password.
to give click to the binoculars, to look for Length: 36 without quotation marks click
He/she looks There not in " Other " this time this,
F3 and there they are the first two characters after the one it apostrophizes BOTH FIRST.
F3 and there they are the remaining characters after the @ six remaining maximum:. 2+6=8 maximum.
He/she 5.-writes the password in the stall of the CPS and so so.

Warn me in the lines that you/they found the information.
