I see alot of ribless cables on ebay for the HT1000, and was wondering, since it uses RSS for programming can these cables be used?

yes, they can, but HIGHLY advised against! 99% of them are hong kong editions and have cheap quality parts.

I guess so, since most of the prices are italics which means they're foreign. Can the cable for an XTS3000 that uses a rib also be used to program the HT1000? Also, what about the rib-less XTS3000 cables? Thanks.
