CAI Data Registration

I see this "feature" in ASTRO25 CPS properties for an ASTRO system, but what is it? Is this something for conventional or maybe just trunking? Any help would be appreciated?

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Its for data operation (such as a data modem). Unless your using a data modem on an astro system, ignore it. It won't hurt you.
