AS II & III encryption boards...

Hi All,

This may seem like a silly question BUT, can a DES-OFB and a DES-OFB/XL module be removed from the AS series WITHOUT losing thier keys...

They have been set for infinite key retention initially....

I need to take the OFB/XL out of one radio and put it in another and vice versa with the OFB modules as well...without losing the keys....

Any chance this can happen?

As long as the radio you're taking them out of has Infinite Key Retention, you won't loose the keys. Just make sure the radio they're going into also has IKR enabled so you won't loose them either.
