XTS3000R fail 01/92

Post by dave.au »

Hi Everyone,

after a few hours of reading on here, ive concluded that-

it has a corrupted code plug and needs lab to push another code plug into it, as my cps will not read / write to the radio.

Another flate rate maybe?

Ideas?

Another flate rate !
Whats the flat rate in OZ for a XTS3000R

You have to remember that as an IS radio it should be repaired by an authourized centre (ie. Motorola) to remain certified.

Inquired today, the flat rate is $300.00 AUD. I took it to an authorised repairer but they needed to send it away.

BUT

Ive since fixed the problem, managed to do a read and write without unpacking, not the best fix but that will do for now
