w7 astro spectra remote mount emergency problem

Post by Cipher77 »

hello all,

just installed a w7 astro spectra 45w with a remote head kit (that is an analog spectra kit) with the 6186 dual db25 interconnect board. powered up the radio & got a FL 01/90 error -- i removd 4 pins on the interconnect board so that it was the same as the control head interconnect board -- now, was able to power up & pass POST but is thowing up an emergency -- anyone have any suggestion??

thanx,

Look on batlabs, model specific under spectra. You probably need to
jump pins 2 and 8 on the 15 pin connector.

You should NOT have to do this with a systems 9000 remote mount setup. Something is still wrong and a band aid solution was done to correct it.
