You DO have to register first, to download/upload codeplug information though.

I'll be willing to bet you can also knock off the chanel stop under the knob and program that radio as a 16 channel.

They didn't hose the controllers on the Jedis like they did wtih the Genesis and GP300/P110 radios.

It's worth a try...but I'll bet it will work.
