XTS 3000 Firmware (MDC)

Post by compuman81 »

At what version firmware does MDC Delay of Silence and PTT ID start working at? For the life of me, I can't get it to work with this radio which has R06.10.02.

I have a radio with 5.6 in it, and it does it fine....I can't figure this out.

This couldn't have anything to do with the DSP version, could it?

Can you post the host/dsp and flashcode of both radios.

In question : 06.10.02 / 06.05.02
Works : 05.60.00 / 08.02.02

Both have Digital DSP

I have many other controllers with lower firmware/dsp that have never had a problem doing it, but I can't see anything else causing the problem.
Even The Astro Sabers with ancient firmware do it Alright.

Firmware mismatch? I don't think DSP8 is supposed to be in an R05.60 radio...

I would agree with that, its possible since in the XTS3000 I believe the host and dsp are stored on different boards.

You should get both radios updated to newer stuff.

I dont think this would cause the problem however, but you never know.

Can you provide the flashcode of both radios, not what options it decodes to.
