XLT1500 ordering help

XLT1500 ordering help

I need to order a 700/800 XTL1500. There are the P25 conventional and the P25 conventional enhanced software options. What are the differences? I do not need trunking now, but might want it later.

It was explained to me that the enhanced allows for display features like Soft ID. I just received a VHF conventional and I was specific in wanting this feature and the G966 was the firmware option that was installed.

The high tier option increases channels to 255, adds trunking and ADP, and adds some call lists. There is a thread regarding all of this from earlier this month
