PR1500 Cant make it scan..

I just bought 6 PR1500 radios for the F.D. I programmed them up fine. However, I can not get them to scan. I have been changing the settings for 3 hours now and they will not scan. I tried every combination seems like. I set the selector for scan and so on. Any ideas? Or am I just stupid... The help menu is no help. Maybe I am reading it wrong..

NEVERMIND!! I got it. I had to create a conventional mode. These new radios are nice once you figure them out..
