Is SMART RIB required for use with late version CPS ?

Using an aftermarket regular RIB, it's been fine programming Spectra and Jedi radios with RSS.

Is the SMART RIB necessary with CPS in the later versions for programming Astro Saber ?

Thanks

NO, the RLN4008 is still good. The only time you NEED a Smart rib is when flashing.
