MTS2000 scan

Post by emsbuff3240 »

Im programming my MTS2000, and whenever i program a button for scan the window turned red so it wouldnt let me do it. I have all of the frequecnies in a scanlist, what could I be doing wrong, thanks.

Im using CPS version 2.00.01, programming a model 3, it works fine on my model one, and the only difference in the model numbers of the radios is the "Physical Packages"

the model one that works fine is:H01RDD9PW1BN
Model 3:H01RDH9PW1BN

thanks!

Likely problem No. 1: you already have "scan" in a menu item; cannot be both in a menu item and on a key.

Likely problem No. 2: you haven't assigned any scan list to any "personality"; it isn't enough to define the scan list, you have to tell the radio which scan list to use if scan is invoked when a given channel is "selected."

I have scanlist program in the menu, but before i put this there it still did not work, and scanlist program works fine from there, so ill be happy with that i guess.

and i have the scanlist set in the personalities
