...
i probably sold 250++ of those things for saber/mt1000
i used to have the part number, but i've lost it.
it was an SP02 part as i recall.
and yes, it WAS for the navy....
i wonder if there is an SMA version out there?

Yellow antenna...
I'm curious to know if it's an MX base or maybe an
SMA-F base. Can't tell from the photo.

the ones i used to order were definately green bottom 440-470, which fit as most of the navy stuff was on 457.xxxx direct at the time.
i have never seen one with an SMA base on it.
it's simple $$$. have enuf $$? sure, we'll run you 10,000 antennas in yellow.... no problem0

re: Yellow Antenna
I bought mine from a guy at the Orlando Hamcation about 10 or more years ago. It has green on the bottom of the threads, and the threads allow it to fit on my HT-1250, MT-1000, GP2000.

huh
Y'all don't know what that is? It's the very rare, ultra kewl Passive Amplifier Antenna System only issued to certain personnel attached to specwargroupbatlabs.
The yellow lets the RF out more better?
It was the secret way members of the Order of the Antenna identified each other?
I give up, that's all I could think of on short notice.
