Need help programming my HT1250

Post by FrenchFirefighter »

Hi everyone :D

I have am using CPS R06.03.00 and am using a ribless cable on a HT1250 part number AAH25RDF9AA5AN and firmware is R01.00.03, I can set just about everything like I want but just can’t get the “silent” to work properly.

Note: As I am a noob at this I call “silent” when you open a radio and don’t hear the chatter until you have a “call” at which point you hear a sound until you press the ptt button.

I would appreciate all the help I can get before either my wife get tiered of listening to all the calls or I change it into a paperweight…

Tnx and have a happy new year
:D

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

that firmware is older than ancient, you will get more options to work if you get that updated too.

How do I go about getting it updated :-? And at what cost

All I need the radio for is an "advanced" pager (1:3- tp 2:00 min. compare to my normal pager) and to use it on interventions.

actully QCII was one of the major problems with the older original firmware. it's usually around $40 and most motorola shops can do it while you wait, it only takes about 10 minutes to do.
