Can A-7 Spectra head DTMF do Direct Zone 1-Touch or Zone-X ?

Sorry if this had been well covered before.

I want to use a Spectra A-7 control head on a Zone capable conventional UHF Spectra and I'd like to be able to use the DTMF pad as Direct Zone "One Touch" access.

The Systems 9000 head has the "Zone X" feature which does just this, but I don't see any way to make this happen so far on the *-7 series control head. It's far nicer than stepping through the Zones especially when you have a lot of them in the radio.

Um.... Not sure. I think you can if you have a button assioacted with it. Or, worse case, if you know the personaility number, press and hold the home key and enter that number. It should at least take you to the correct channel in a given zone.

You may be able to assign one of those features to one of the buttons on the top row. I don't believe you can assign them to the number buttons like on the A9 head.

Well, I sort of thought that might be the case, but hoped that someone had a magic bullet trick with the RSS that would make it happen.

Using the 1 touch direct Zone access as on the 9000 head is not only convenient, it's safer when driving. I can program a ZN UP and ZN DN key, but hoped that nice DTMF could be made to do Zone - X.
