I was wondering if anyone knows how to make TX inhibit work with an Astro Spectra being used as a base? In the programming under ignition switch I selected TX inhibit and the other option is PTT TX inhibit and im not sure how to make this work. Thanks

- What radios do you own?: FPP 6 meter XTL 5K's
Turn off the power supply, that should do it!Mopar078 wrote:Thanks for the info but my main question is how do I get the TX inhibit to work? I have the TX inhibit enabled under ignition switch in the settings and the radios ignition wire is hooked up the positive side of my 12 volt power supply and I can still transmit. Thanks

Or you could wire a switch in to kill the ignition power.

Im either missing something in the programming or im doing something wrong. If I hook a kill switch up to the ignition wire or disconnect it the ignition wire the radio cuts off and then theres no point in having TX inhibit. I don't want the the radio to TX when its powered on so what am I missing or doing wrong?
