Converting a Astro PS mic for System Saber use

Post by ArmsonOeg »

I have done searches but didn't find it. I have a 6234B mic and need to know what i need to do to make it work on a Systems Saber. I do know i need to cut off the peg and probly remove contact #8, is there anything else?........ReWire? I do NOT need the ant. port

Thanks

IIFC, removing the "peg" that acuates the antenna port switch should do it. No need to remove the contact on the spkr/mic cable plug.

Personally, I would trade it for the correct mic, and not butcher it.

You would also need to remove the antenna connector from the bracket as the astro uses a SMA, and the systems saber uses a MX style screw.
