XTS3000 ID?

Post by BFD319 »

I have the XTS3000 model 2 programed with rss version 4. my ? is the radio will not read out MDC ID'S, so I don't have Q352/G352 Soft ID in the radio. Is this something that needs to be flashed into the radio or can I just download a new codeplug thats a model2 with soft id in it already and it will take?

You need the "digital ID display" option in order to decode/view MDC IDs, and FYI, it'll just display the hex values, you cannot alias.

Yes, you need H14 to decode MDC ID's.

What is your current flashcode?

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
