what is a Model # D2903AG

Post by fredv »

I found this radio at a swap meet. It is crystal controlled on 810.7125 tx and 855.7125 rx. It has an inventory label on it from the orange county fire authority. It was attached to a box with several serial ports on it.
It has a PL-259 connector on the back, and a 15 pin connector with a standard looking PA with cooling fins. And no other controls.
The motherboard is red with a white sticker and SLF4051A on it.

Model # D2903AG

Serial # 211FMS0097

The FCC ID is ABZ89FT5640.

any ideas guys?

D2903AG is a single channel 800 MHz data-only radio used with Motorola's KDT480 series mobile data system.

It is rated at 10 Watts with a transmitter turn on of 5ms. The unit is probably based on the Maxar80 RF platform.

Look at it this way. Spring is coming. You'll want to open your windows. You'll need something to keep stuff from blowing off your desk.
