I have a UHF JT1000 that is the 450-520 MHz split. I would like to see if someone could modify the codeplug for me to do a couple of things:
I would like to be able to front panel program down to 440 MHz, and also be able to front panel program without the programming key. I don't believe I have the proper version of RSS to do this, according to the info on this site.
Also, where in the RSS is the option to change the display to see the frequency and tone displayed instead of just "CH 1" or whatever?
I can read the radio, but when I try to send to the radio, I get "Workspace and Radio Software Do Not Conform!!!" and I have no indication as to what causes this. If all else fails, I can take the modified codeplug to a shop and have them put it in the radio.
Can someone modify a JT1000 codeplug for me?
